Opera for the Young- Feb. 29th

Opera for the Young returns to Olson Elementary School on February 29th at 1 p.m.   This project is funded by the D200 Education Foundation.

Opera for the Young (OFtY) is a preeminent producer and presenter of opera for children in the United States, and since 1970 they have introduced more than 2.5 million children to opera. Unlike many opera companies, children’s opera is their sole focus.

Opera for the Young® brings live, professional opera to elementary school audiences with annual Fall and Spring tours. Students appear onstage in chorus and cameo roles, performing for their peers right alongside OFtY’s professional artists.

Choral Masterwork- Feb. 21

Both high school choral programs are rehearsing a Choral Masterwork to be performed with a professional choir, organist, percussionist and harpist.  It will be performed on Sunday Feb. 21st at 3 p.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church.  You don’t want to miss this great opportunity!

Tickets: $5.00- general admission.  $3.00- seniors/students

Tickets sold at the door and online at http://corcantiamo.ticketleap.com/masterworks/
